The Mindset to Succeed

"Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you're right."

Today I'd like to share this12-minute video about how important it is to believe in yourself - and believe in each other; and just how much impact it has.

Personal finance is almost invariably about numbers - save at least 10% of your income, budgeting the rest, comparing returns of equity funds, term length and interest rates of time deposits, etc.

Except when it's not: How do you keep up with college tuition? Starting early helps, but then inflation can also eat up what you were supposed to save. How do you prepare for your retirement, while supporting both parents and your own children at the same time? How can you afford that dream house? And does being able to afford it mean you can't afford that cushy lifestyle you've also dreamt about?

Life is rough. There's almost never any guarantee. But sometimes you need to believe it can work out, even before you know that it will.

At the core of it, like most things in life, personal finance is about dreams, goals and the determination to make them come true.
